Samantha Moreno

I have over six years of experience in financial services, particularly in mortgages. As the manager of a regional office, I provided personalized support to the public, managed complaints, and tracked KPIs to ensure customer satisfaction. Additionally, I developed marketing strategies for new products and services, leveraging insights gained from direct customer engagement to tailor our offerings precisely to their needs. I believe in a student-centred teaching philosophy, emphasizing self-awareness and personal growth to help students develop resilience to thrive academically and personally. My goal is to help students develop the skills and mindset they need to become their best selves and succeed in all aspects of their lives.

Outside of work, I enjoy engaging in physical activities like running, trail running, and hiking, which inspires my teaching approach by emphasizing perseverance, goal-setting, and the importance of pushing oneself beyond perceived limits. I also enjoy self-development books and podcasts; with this approach, I try to emphasize continuous growth, self-reflection, and encouraging students to explore their potential.
