I have 25 years of experience in the hospitality industry and over 20 years of teaching experience to international students. My expertise includes hotel operations with a focus on room management. I also have worked in food and beverage with a focus on conference and catering sales. I also have 7 years of experience holding a senior management position in a non-profit organization at UBC with the student AMS society, focusing on handling multiple student businesses and conference services.

I believe in creating a learning experience where students from all over the world come together and learn about hospitality and discover who they are as people and how they can fit into the industry. I emphasize strong student-focused learning that helps students achieve their goals and have fun on their learning journey. Outside of work, I am an avid outdoorsman enjoying skiing, hiking, scuba diving, kayaking and escaping regularly into the wilderness to enjoy nature.
