Who is the Next Speaker?

As a Business Advisor of Small Business BC, Gary has been a part of Small Business BC for over twenty years of experience advising clients on all aspects of business start-up, including registration, licensing, sales tax registration, workers compensation coverage, business insurance, and industry-specific regulatory requirements.

Gary has first-hand knowledge of what it takes to successfully start, run and sell a business, having operated his own coffee shop business in Kitsilano for over 6 years. Given this experience, he can provide clients with efficient insights during one-on-one consultations. In particular, he can advise on financial and operational aspects of clients’ business strategies that they often overlook.

Gary regularly participates in outreach activities on behalf of Small Business BC, including representing the organization at tradeshows and partner organization events. He also periodically provides presentations and tours of Small Business BC and small business resources during in-reach activities. He is the main point of contact for many international business schools in Vancouver, for whom Gary often provides small group presentations at Small Business BC.
