Who is the next guest speaker?

An honored alumnus from Queen’s University, a recipient of Queen Elizabeth II Golden Jubilee Medal, a Director of Policy and Chief of Staff to Finance Minister, Kevin McCarthy, is joining us in this talk on personal finance management. 

Expert in both public policy and financial sectors, Kevin played a central role in all critical economic challenges for the Government of Canada during 2006 – 2013, such as the financial crisis of 2008-2009 and the design and implementation of eight federal budgets. On an international level focused on global trade and economic challenges, Kevin served as a senior advisor to Canada’s Prime Minister and finance minister in international panels such as  G20, G7 and APEC. 

With over 20 years of experience, Kevin has a deep passion for helping people understand money management basics. Acting as the Head of the Education Division at Enriched Academy, Kevin continues to educate students on personal financial management across the country. 

In this Cornerstone Talk session, you will be learning the basics of money management. Kevin will take you on the journey of how you can efficiently manage your financial situation. The topics of common money myths, credit card dangers, tracking your net worth, pay yourself first, and top spending mistakes are the main topics to discuss in the talk.
