FAQ About the Hotel Quarantine
–
Cornerstone College has proudly announced its brand new hotel quarantine initiative that will have its students covered when they arrive in Canada and allow them to move forward with their life and studies in Canada.
Starting on February 22, Cornerstone College international students will have a unique opportunity to avail 200,000 CAD worth of emergency funds when arriving to study in Canada from abroad. In addition to its original quarantine plan, Cornerstone College will cover the expenses of the mandatory 3-day hotel stay for 100 students, which can be conveniently paid back in installments later.
Students will need to cover 400 CAD as their deposit along with their quarantine plan, followed by half of their remaining balance on arrival in Canada. The rest can be paid back within 30 days of students’ arrival in Canada.
According to the Government of British Columbia, international travelers are required by law to self-quarantine for 14 days and fill out the federal ArriveCAN application. Starting on February 22, all returning travelers must book a room in a Government-of-Canada’s approved hotel for 3 nights and take a COVID-19 test on their arrival at their own expense.
